What is BACS?
BACS stands for 'Banker's Automated Clearing Services' and is a simple and cost effective way to make payments directly from your bank account to another bank account. It is the most popular way for suppliers and employees to be paid.
Why use BACS?
When sending a transaction through BACS, it avoids the need for paper documents as part of the money transfer process and is time efficient. It is one of the UK’s inter-bank funds transfer facilities and is effective, secure and widely accepted as the modern approach to funds transfers. It minimizes the need for writing and banking cheques, and the associated administration.

CHANNEL ISLANDS - Channel Island Lines provides a freight and distribution service between the UK and the Channel Islands with most goods being delivered on the day they reach the islands. We are now regularly delivering our paints and coatings via Channel Island Lines so if you have a requirement for our paints and coatings "over the water", please contact us for details.

Cancelling your order:
The Distance Selling Regulations apply to private individuals (consumers) only. The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to business contracts. Our Terms & Conditions apply to all orders. Our acceptance of your order will be subject to these Terms and Conditions, which are the only basis on which we do business.
If you choose not to accept delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations, we shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods, less any expenses incurred by the failed delivery. You must inform us of cancellation (in writing, by fax or by email, but not by ‘phone) within 7 days of receipt of your goods (in the event they were despatched prior to cancellation).
Please take all reasonable care of the goods and return immediately. If you fail to return the goods, we will make a reasonable charge for the direct cost of their recovery plus a 20% administration charge. The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply when a customer has ordered personalised goods, goods made to a customer's specification (such as a paint or coating specifically manufactured to individual specification) or items that are not possible to return due to their physical nature.
The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to business contracts.

SPECIAL MIXES & COLOUR MATCHING CHARGES
All special mixes and colour matching prices are quoted on an individual basis depending on quantity and complexity. Some special mixes and colour matches can take up to 7 working days plus shipping time from receipt of order and samples.
Increasingly there is a demand for individual or unusual colour matching by the consumer, as well as a requirement for the matching of corporate colours for large organisations. We also continue to see a need for matching paint colours with the surrounding environment. Most paint manufactures will only mix bespoke colours in large volumes. We are able to mix colours in quantities as small as 10.0 Litres in the majority of our coatings and finishes. We do however require a sample of the colour that you would like us to match. We will confirm our ability (or otherwise) to match the colour and sheen levels upon receipt. A standard charge of £30.00 + VAT is made for this service, in addition to the cost of the products. Paint samples are sent to, or left at our premises at the owner’s risk.
NB: we are frequently asked to satisfy individual requests based either on cost or performance. Please feel free to call us to discuss your own or your customers' specific requirements.
