Builders report steady workflow and recovering revenues.
The construction industry is rallying from the aftermath of the lockdown as builders report steady workflow and recovering revenues, according to a survey of 2,000 UK construction companies by Skrap, the on-demand construction hire specialist. Almost half of construction businesses (44%) reported that workflow has reached pre-lockdown levels. The bounce is such that almost a quarter (23%) of businesses felt they would hit at least 2019 revenue levels and possibly see a 20% increase. Courtesy of Builders Merchants News - Read MORE.

Sales from the Residential Sector.
Here at Technical Paint Services, with the help of our small, dedicated team, we have managed to continue manufacturing and selling our paints and coatings throughout the lockdown period. In what has been an unusual trading period, our sales of Swimming Pool Paint and Tennis Court Paints were boosted through early Summer by numerous orders from the residential sector, whilst the Autumn has seen a slow return to business from the commercial and industrial markets. We have seen a significant demand for our products for use in new-build pool-houses.

Our Prices Held.
Whilst the supply-chain has been severely disrupted, margins have been difficult to protect and demand almost impossible to forecast, we have managed to hold our pricing at previous levels which we believe has helped protect our previous quarter trading. We now head in to what can only be described as an unpredictable last few months of 2020.
